(My main Belle crossover ship is with Quasi, actually. But a few days ago I was suddenly hit with inspiration for this pairing. XD Other than the fact that both their stories take place in France (never mind that they are in different time periods and different areas of the country, lol) which puts them in the same playing field, I think it'd be interesting to see how Belle would interact with Frollo. Considering she's got a good head on shoulders and is one of the most intelligent Disney girls, I think she'd be able to hold her own against Frollo and all of his, well, crap (and I say that in the nicest way possible, he's actually my favorite Disney villain XD). Also, I really love villainxheroine pairings.... Yet, strangely, I just can't bring myself to like Fresme, at least in the Disney universe. I can just never see Esmeralda submitting herself to him. Now, Belle, however, although I see her as an independent person, would give herself over to Frollo if the situation is desperate enough (ie like how she promised to stay with Beast in the castle forever in exchange for saving her father). And, who knows, maybe Belle's open mindedness might influence Frollo in a good way... Maybe. XD

I agree with you 100%! I think the ship is very much plausible if you bend the time frames a bit. I, too, can never see Essy giving in and "falling" in love with Frollo. There is too much resentment and she is a spitfire that he would never have.
But yeah, maybe I'll try and make another manip or two of these lovely characters when I get some time.

Oh, awesome, I'm glad you agree! I think so, too. Actually, I found a tumblr post about a girl expressing her liking for this pairing and person criticized that it's like shipping Mother Teresa with Hitler. Which made me feel a little bad about it... but I can't help finding FrolloxBelle interesting! Besides, I like to imagine it being this dark, twisted relationship that results in a bittersweet ending, anyway. I can't exactly see Frollo in a happy or healthy relationship with a woman. XD Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that way, because it's probably one of the few villainxheroine pairings I don't really support. >.<
