RoD 3/3 of Calliandra 34743 as geno payment for Dark-Mare910 ! I did the background buildup a little different this time ;U I think you can't really see the difference from my other backgrounds in the final pic but it was good to try a different approach ^^

Calliandra quietly strolled through a path in the thick forest of Aqtuquaq Forest. There were birds chattering around her and she could make out some small animals scurrying away while she walked. She enjoyed the calm of the forest and the shadows of the trees offered some cooling down from the harsh sun that she welcomed gladly. Eventhough the temperatures were still high, the shadows of the trees were a good place to hide from the summer heat. She stood still for a second, taking in all the life of the animals and trees around her. Lately, she had kept seeing a stag on her walks. And not on there, she was dreaming of it as well. It was like the universe was trying to tell her something, but what? All she knew was, she felt at ease near the animal and she knew for sure it wasn't there to bring her a bad omen.

The curly maned dire Tokota continued her stroll until she came into a small meadow in the forest. She looked around and there were some peach trees surrounding the border of the meadow. She smiled to herself, wanting to approach one of the trees when something in the tall grass caught her eye. It was a female deer resting in the grass, but when she looked closer there were more deer resting there, she counted almost fifteen of them all scattered accross the field. They were glancing at her with interest but none of them were scared or seemed to be wanting to jolt off as deer so often did when a Tokota entered their territory. Some of the deer slowly stood up and were looking at her with curious eyes. Calliandra looked up and her mouth fell open when a large stag rose out of the grass before her. "Whoa." She quitely whispered to herself. The stag showed no sign of fear and started to approach Calliandra. The curly maned dire Tokota swallowed hard, her heart pounding in her chest. What was the universe trying to tell her? Was this what the elders spoke of when they were telling their stories of the spirit animals? That every Tokota is bound to a spirit animal?

She wasn't sure if she should move or not, or sit down or do anything but her paws were frozen to the forest floor. The stag was still approaching her slowly and stuck his head forward, his nose sniffing at her as if to see if she meant them any harm. Calliandra figured the stag decided she was no threat and came to a halt before her, studying her closely with his large and curious eyes. Some of the deer started to follow his example and before Calliandra knew it, she was surrounded by the entire herd of deer who were hiding in the grass just moments before. Her heart was still racing but the fact the stag had stopped approaching her calmed her a little. The animals were completely at ease with her around. She felt this had to mean something more and knew from that moment on that the elders were right. The deer and stag were now bound to her and she had found her spirit animal.

Prompt: Your tokota’s gentle nature is so well known that they can walk among herds of prey without frightening them. Depict your tokota running peacefully alongside a herd of deer, a stampede of bison, relaxing with a warren of rabbits, etc.
