Entry for Episode 1's sidequest 'Aftermath'

"Hey Kee, do you really think we have disturbed the spirits of this mountain by coming here?" Aylen dropped another log at the side, another step to cleaning a path into the mountains. Keeonah blinked, grunted while dragging away another heavy piece of a snapped pine tree. After dropping it she looked at her handler, huffed and began dragging away another log. Aylen shrugged and nodded. "Yeah I'm not sure either. One thing's for sure though, there is something here." Aylen dropped to her haunches, ready to pick up another piece of wood when a raven descended and landed right in front of her. It looked around first to Aylen, then to Keeonah. The rapid blinking of it's eye was somehow disturbing and strange looking. Aylen picked up the log and straightened her back. The raven ruffled it's feathers and let out a loud and chilling 'kra kra kra!'. Both Aylen and the tokota were startled by the sound that seemed like it came out of nowhere. The contrast between the quiet aftermath of the avalanche and the loud 'kra kra kra' of the raven was unsettling. There was definitely something more going on here... Kee started to get restless and barked at the raven to make it go away. And as sudden as the raven began screeching it stopped, tilted it's head at the tokota and finally flew off.
