A 'remix' of my favorite Felix portrait; [link]And... Actually FOR Felix too. See, I'm going to his grave tomorrow and you can't really show up empty handed can ya?
... Well maybe you can, but that's beside the point.
It's a little late to buy him a flower or something though so I figured hey, why not draw him?
I kinda cheated a bit, I already had a sketch lying around that I made earlier today.
But either way, here it is.
I decided to try something new and make a sketchy outline and 'paint' it. I think it turned out alright.
For once though, I think the print looks neater than the original, but that might be because I put a lot of effort into making it fit for printing. ahaha.
And yeah. I think I really like how it turned out. Hope he likes it!

That looks really different. Very unique style that I think suits it perfectly. There's a realism to it that makes it look alive and vibrant.
The sketchiness helps, but I think the coloring adds a ton to this. It's a great melding of deep hues and lighter colors. Especially on his hair.
This is a really, really great piece. I daresay that even Felix himself would be proud of it.

And this picture by the way--you captured it totally. I like how you remembered little details right down to the little pinky ring. Awesome stuff. Also I like how he's smiling more in yours.

Well actually I only even noticed it while drawing. It's amazing how much detail goes unnoticed until you try drawing the picture yourself.
And I was actually annoyed with that fact until I remembered it was Felix and Felix should be HAPPEH.
