I got it tattooed in brown ink so that it would still look like a Henna. I constantly get people asking me about my henna and I tell them that it's a real tattoo. It's a nice conversation starter! X3
Went to the Rennaisance Faire today and got a Henna tattoo. :3 I'm almost considering getting this as a perminent tattoo some day. Thus why I took a pic of it. :3 It's inbetween my shoulder blades and I'll take another picture of it after it reaches it's full darkness.
PS. It still has the Henna paste on it b/c I want it to get as dark as possible so that's why it looks cracked. ^___~

hmmmm, Im not sure what you mean? If you are talking about the henna itself, I did not make that. I had a henna tattoo artist do it for me on the center of my back. And if I took the picture, no again as it is in the center of my back X3

This is sooo awesome. I have done quite a few henna tattoos myself, on myself. I have got a perm. henna tattoo that reaches from my toes to my knees. It's one of the most rewarding tattoos I have ever gotten.
To get henna to reach its full darkness, however there's a trick. When it gets cracky like this, take a cotton ball and apply some sugar water, keep it wet so it sinks into your skin

"Black henna" that is natural, don't exists..
When you see black Henna, there are some ingredients that are normally used to tan leather..
So it isn't good to put it on skin.. there can be evil side effects or allergys..
So, that must be brown henna, I think..
And, well, Henna is a dark-green powder (when it's fresh)

btw, henna is a 100% natural product that is made of a plant..

i know the difference between the two pastes, i just couldn't tell in the photo on my crappy screen whether the design was so dark because it WAS a dark stain, or if it was just dried henna paste that hasn't crumbled away yet.

black henna being poison- usually scaring people for life... this is brown or red henna. A beautiful design by the way.
