I have been drawing for most of my life. Though I am older(42), I graduated from school in 2003 and have been working professionally since then. I have just published a children's book and take on other illustration and fine art work as it comes my way.
Over the last ten years I have been gradually building a list of patrons, fan base, and list of collectors and the list continues to grow every year. I make a meager living with my art but it is fulfilling. I am fortunate to have the support of my wife and family. It has been a long difficult road getting to where I am now but it would have been even more difficult without the support they give me.
