Description
Just something fun I thought I would try out.
It is not exactly how I want it so I may work on it some more.
Queen of clubs playing card, acrylic paint, india ink pen and matte medium.
ACEO (this is slightly smaller than standard ACEO size)

Can't really believe I missed you getting a DD for this - must be slacking of on checking out my Daily Deviations page
But I totally propose that you get a DD every 3 months.
Although, I admit, for that we must either suggest them to various GMs, or you somehow need to impress ^snowmask off her chair 
So perhaps this metamorphosis of yours has come at a good time for that

When I first saw this as a DD, I was a bit confused...it was hard to tell what you had painted and what was the original artwork! But after looking at the rest of your gallery and seeing the artistic language that you've created and employed in the rest of your bird pieces, it makes so much more sense! The simplicity and beauty of it is gentle and whimsical.
Are you considering altering an entire deck of 52 in this fashion?

I was hoping others would look at my gallery simply out of curiosity from the DD.
I am considering a whole deck but I will have to work on it between commissions and other work.

woah, the gretest thing about DD's is that I would probably never come across this work, but now it is one of my favourite pictures of all time.

Understand which part?
The bird part is the face: A dot for an eye and a line for the beak. Bird face.
If it is in ref to why this is a DD then read through the other comments. I have explained this enough.

gosh ... I've looked at this picture for five minutes but did not find what you mean (the bird's face). Very..very sorry before, but I really can not see what you mean.
I focused on the queen's face, and just saw two dot (a big one and small one). and a line that is connected with a big dotted.

I wasn't really impressed with this artwork either but when I went to your gallery you had whole wonderful world.

I think that is part of getting a DD. Hopefully the viewer will go and check out the gallery out of curiosity if not by interest.
I was surprised for this to get a DD too but when the Anthro GM explained why, it made sense. The GM saw the image because it stood out from the rest, liked it and featured it.

i just read through all the comments you've been getting today, and... i'm shocked
shocked by the fact that people actually take the time and put the energy into posting something negative just because they don't agree on 1. it being a DD or 2. it being anthro or 3. it being a bird or even 4. your creative skills.
but i'm actually even more shocked at how cool and calmly you are dealing with all these comments... i would have thrown a temper tantrum and stormed out of the room a long time ago

Yes he did. I did not understand the beginning of the comment. The rest looked liked he was saying my work was commercial, art deco, hotel/department store artwork.
I think I will post the question and my reply in a journal entry. What do you think? Is it okay to share this through my journal?
