Fanart of Kuu-chan and Tama-chan (Kuugen and Gyokuyou) from Wagaya no Oinari-Sama. I was going to do a chibi version based on that second ending credits with the dancing Kou, Kuu, and Tama-chans but I thought I might as well play around with my new tablet.Corel Painter 8, Adobe Photoshop CS

There's not really a software specifically for anime and stuff. I use adobe photoshop or corel painter, but it's more on the artist rather than the software, really. You just need a graphic tablet and a decent software, but some excellent artist uses ArtRage, OpenCanvas, SAI, MangaStudio, etc so the software doesn't matter as much as long as it works.

Thanks, I got the bg idea from those japanese papers. Although you can tell it's drawn rather quickly since the curves are a bit crooked
