Description Popeye the Sailor was one of my favorite shows to watch when I was growing up. It played in the early mornings on Cartoon Network, around 5:30 AM. Even though I hated to wake up early I would wake up at 5 am just so I could watch Popeye before going to school. and this show was the reason I started to like spinach even though I was disappointed that I didn't get super strength from it LOL!

You're welcome, only cartoons I would call crap are todays shit. But yeah back then cartoons could get away with airing propaganda-ish episodes because nowadays people are just so fucking sensitive.

I really enjoyed Popeye when i was younger, also I agreed with you and ZoidLigerZero - old cartoons are so much better than today's cartoon, today's generation cartoons seem to be made for children only, i really missed those awesome show like Samurai Jack and Megas XLR on Cartoon Network

Yeah popeye and a lot of old cartoons like it were great. I liked samurai jack and megas XLR a bit, but I wouldn't consider those in the old generation I was referring to. cartoons nowadays are just crap even thw ones not centered around little kids are crap
