Description
This was another favorite of mine at the zoo for the day, an Arctic Fox. It looked so cute and cuddly, almost like a fluffy puppy. But then his friend (think of a beautiful grayish-brown version of what you see here) came up and he snarled and chased him around was being very territorial. I tried to get a shot of the two of them literally facing off (it was like a mini showdown) but they were too quick and my angle was such that i had trouble adjusting to it.Related content

this is an incredible photo! the timing must have been perfect to capture this.

thanks, it took a few tries - she didn't seem to eager to sit still and she was continually turning her head to look around at the people walking by. The other challenge was taking a photo through a fairly tightly woven screen, i couldn't really move the camera to adjust, i pretty much had to wait in one spot ti she turned back.
