but i really wanted to take the time to write out a really nice comment on this, because the emotional impact it had on me was very, very great.
the fact that you came up with a cute little scenario for this picture WITHOUT ME ASKING just means so much to me, and having it so accurate too just ahh <333
LIKE SERIOUSLY i kept asking myself "does this exist??? is this real??" because i couldn't comprehend this picture at all
firstly i want to say that you drew both of them perfectly
not a single flaw, both of their designs are on point and their personalities show so greatly with the way they're interacting-
Damon getting excited and into what he's telling his husband with Clarence who has coffee in one hand, his hand on the other's hip, and listening with a brow raised
its just perfect and totally them ;__; STRAIGHT UP <333
secondly THE DETAIL
this is like some expensive painting lol
the hair and the shading is my favorite, and how you added little bits of lighting in it to make it look glossy. its gorgeous <3
the detail on the clothes makes them look like theyre wrinkled and not just FLAT against them, gives them some life and form and its amazing ;___; <333
it gives off the night time feeling too, the haziness of the streetlights and such <3 id give anything to be in their spots right now
and lastly,
my favorite thing about this whole picture,
the ring.
oh. my. goodness.
it wasn't on his design, it wasn't stated anywhere that he wore a ring, and you added that little detail because of his marriage status and i love you for that
it just shows the thought you put into this and the love you put into it and it makes this picture very very special to me <3

This is by far the sweetest, most thoughtful, appreciative comment I have ever received about any art that I have ever made for anyone in my entire life oh my goodness- I reread it like 3 times because it just makes me so darn happy
It really really means a lot to me that you noticed how far I got into your characters, normally people don't notice the smaller details I put into their pictures to try to add the life to their requests or commissions (WHICH I S TOTALLY FINE- IM JUST NOT USED TO THIS)
