Description I was inspired by shadow box work and decided to try it for myself. This is my character Kyrene getting ready to battle a fierce dragon.

The dragon looks great. No wonder you took so long making it.

Nothing wrong with that. I put a little of me in all of my characters too.

 This is very cool

I can see a lot of tiny details that mustve been very painstaking to cut out.  Like the feathering you did to make the teeth on the skulls, or the rattler type texture you added to the tip of the dragon's tail, and the small detail mark on your OC's foot.  It's all the little things that make up the whole image and I'm glad you didn't shy away from them for sake of an easier build.

The horns on the dragon's head, his expression, and posing are done really well.  And you'll never see us argue against the use of glitter paper.

Just out of curiosity, how long did this take you to make?  And how did you go about the process?  Do you think you'll do more?

It's an amazing piece of work and thank you so much for tagging us as inspiration ^_^  It really means a lot

Thank you for your compliment! I admire your work and it means a lot coming from you!

Haha! You can never have too much glitter!

This took about three days to make! The skulls themselves took about four hours!

First I started out with a rough sketch of each character.

I then made several copies of each character and cut out the individual pieces that would be layered on top of each other.

Then I traced each piece onto the colored paper, but I traced the design in the OPPOSITE direction of how I wanted it to face when I laid it down on the background paper. This way I wouldn't have to worry about the pencil lines and could get that clean paper look-if that makes sense.

I have another one I completed (I will be uploading it soon) and hope to do more in the near future!

Again thank you! Keep up the great work!
