I don't know what this is for, but I love the awesome "Marvel Encyclopedia" style character profile. Also, thanks to my temporarily forgetting that the anatomical version of "butt" has two "t"s, I initially thought she had somehow earned the nickname of "Gerber Baby Butt." I spent a while trying to figure out what that could mean.

That contest looks so great. There are so many amazing submissions. I like the crazy looking guy with a dog who looks to outfitted for some kind of a safari or early 20th century hunting trip. God knows I can't participate in this, but I'd definitely be interested in reading it when it starts.

Very nice work! Lovely and detailed character design. The overall ref sheet layout is simple but effective. Her boots and hair are especially what I love about her; smexy eyes too. It'd be very interesting to see what she can do against the zombie horde (a coffee pot or beer stein to the head can do wonders, I'll bet, heh).
I admittedly made some character designs for this OCT but nothing I'm overly happy with. Looking at your work makes me want to take it up a notch. Good luck in the tourney (if and when it ever starts)!

It really is just something tentative I did to drum up a general idea (and to put it out there that I want to enter a waitress... ha, I know, I know, how territorial, eh?) but I'm really flattered as well as surprised that it has inspired you to take it up a notch... peeking over your gallery and the INSANELY beautiful detail you do, I don't think you are going to have to be too worried about me!

Thankee! Though the thing with detail is that it bites me back in the butt; makes it harder to do decent comic sequentials. I can understand why animators tend to want to simply character designs now.
And I know what you mean about territorial, heh. Sometimes I put up stuff that's WIP just to stake my claim on a character design or idea so it's out there and I can say, hey, this be mine!

Well yeah, sometimes keeping up with detail can be a real pain... But hey, ya know, you won't be drawing a full body for every panel, and I'm sure you could find a good way to do it!
