It's been a while since I drew a full body image of Omega. Figured it would be a good idea to draw a more up-to-date version of him.

Anyway, for those who don't know already, Omega is the Field Commander of the Sentinel Corps, and one of it's more powerful members. Before he became Omega, he was Nathan Fredricks, a former marine who served two tours in the middle east. While he was proud to serve his country, he didn't exactly receive a hero's welcome when he got back. His marriage was already straining before he left overseas, and only got worse upon his return, then finally ended in divorce with his ex-wife getting custody over their son. Not only that, but Nathan also developed a minor case of PTSD due to an incident that occurred during his service, which didn't help his case during the custody battle. For a while, things were pretty rough for Nathan, but he eventually found work as a security guard for Talon Corp. headquarters. There he met a young, kid genius named Takumi, who had taking a liking to him after witnessing Nathan take down some robbers. So much so, that when Takumi resigned from Talon Corp. he offered Nathan a chance to come work for him, in exchange for paid living expenses and higher pay. Nathan was hesitant at first, but agreed, which was the starting point that would lead to the events that create the Sentinel Corps.

I'm aware that some people are a little confused on how Omega's powers work, so hopefully this will clarify. Omega has the ability to absorb large amounts of energy and convert it into power for himself. He can use this power to increase his physical abilities, making him stronger, faster, and more durable, or he can use it to fire blasts of raw energy at his opponents or create a protective barrier around him. He's also capable of flight and can travel at high speeds if his energy levels are high enough. Now, here's the thing about his absorption ability, while he can potentially absorb nearly any form of energy, he does have his preferences. Electricity is his preferred source of energy as he can absorb it much quicker than most energy and it causes little to no harm to him. His body constantly absorbs solar energy, but at a very slow rate, so it's not really a reliable source in a fight. While he could absorb radioactive energy, it can be dangerous to him and can cause serious damage to his body without some form of protection. Some energies he can't even absorb, such as Alpha's experimental power source, which is a strange, alien energy that is negatively charged to the point that it would harm Omega rather than be absorbed into his being. Also, while he can absorb mass amounts of energy, his body does have limits and high levels of energy could harm or potentially kill him if he absorbs too much. Which leads to another flaw, his lack of control. The suit he's wearing isn't just to provide protection and look cool, it also serves as a containment suit. You see, Omega can't control how much energy he disperses whenever he uses it, like a baby snake having no control over how much venom it injects in it's victims, even though that is a myth. The suit helps him channel and focus his energy, allowing him to disperse his energy in controlled bursts.
