This is a birthday gift for one of my art idols, OMOCAT (www.omocat-shop.com/ ). I got to see her last year during Anime Expo and while I didn't meet her personally, I got to see her talk on stage about her art and upcoming game, it was awesome. This is her character, MUSHROOMGIRL, one of my favorite characters of hers, though all her characters are mondo cool.
I've been in an art rut lately (as you all could tell, I'm sure) but finding out it was her birthday today somehow made me super motivated. Thanks OMO!
Copic markers, white gel pen, and fine liners on white cardstock. Editing done in Photoshop 7.

Ah, I've been doing a lot of nothing, yet it feels as though there's also been a lot going on at the same time, if that makes sense.
