his upbringing was strenuous, and more often than not, he found himself encumbered by the expectations of his overzealous parents. he was often imprisoned under the echoes of their squabbles, and with such a jagged fissure beginning to tear apart the stability of his life, he took out most of his frustrations through misbehaving and, often, fighting. at the age of nine, his parents divorced; and after a long battle between them -- a pertinent part of the process, the designation of where he should live -- he was finally rewarded to his mother. upon the start of their new life, his mother's antics of disapproval only seemed to escalate, and as he aged, so increased her abhorrence for him. he, according to her, was beginning to take the shape of his father, and yearning to receive her praise and approval, he started to lose himself to the whimsies of her desires. he became subservient, and tried to whittle himself into a proper son; one, deserving of her acknowledgment and love.
