bandwagon time

was mean enough to make this irresistible looking gem of a group that anyone who's a fan of canines or (the beautifully done game) The Last of Us can not possibly resist the temptation she has placed on the table.

Told myself I was only going to devote my time to one group (DoC) and here I am, going to give it a go. It looks like a fun ride so if you're also a fan of the above mentioned, weak-willed like me or just want to try something different and fun you should check it out too

Container: Half gallon clay moonshine-type jug sealed with cork. Can hold approx (if full) 1800ml. Half that amount is easier to carry.
Accessories:
-Orange tinted bandanna to cover face with, helps keep dust or other airborne irritates away from his sensitive nose.
-An old leather saddle bag that he keeps other items.

Goal/Motivation: Survival, meeting interesting individuals, helping those who need it without endangering his own skin.
Personality:

Generous - A scrap of food here, a sip of water there, if he sees someone in trouble he will offer what he can spare, especially pups. Everyone deserves a chance to make it in his hell.
Cautious - With good reason. He is friendly, but not stupid. He is more than aware that the wrong canine he crosses would take advantage of well meaning hospitality and rob you blind. He is also careful not to risk losing his most valuable possession - his sense of smell. It helps him find clean water and food and keeps him aware of dangers around him. If an environment doesn't seem right and the air is full of dust and debris he covers his face for protection.
Sense of humor - Helps him get by all the horrors that one faces in this environment. Even dark humor.
Realist - One can only be an optimist so far these days. While he will do what he can to help others, he knows when to walk away if he thinks they are beyond help. And if he manages to rescue them in time from their own stupidity he will let them know how much they could have screwed up.
Practical - Only carry what you need, and maybe a little bit more. Can you use it? Can you trade it?

Plot Options:

Mi Casa - Your character happens upon Chase's nook in the library when he returns and finds them:
a) Rummaging through his things.
b) Just passing through.
Does this turn into a friendly visit or does he run you off?

Roles could be reversed and Chase comes across your character's den.

Yours, Mine, & Ours - Your character and Chase have their eyes on the same goal. Finding food or water. Do you want to:
a) Work together and double cross him?
b) Compete for it?
c) Work together and share it?

Red Cross - Chase's short coat doesn't protect him from injury in some cases and now he's gone and hurt himself.
a) Lend him a paw somewhere safe.
b) Offer some healing supplies/knowledge if you have it.
c) Take advantage of his injury and steal supplies from him.

We All Have Scars (can be tied into other plots) - Maybe if your character asks Chase will share something personal about his past.

Scout's Honor - Your character needs help across the city but it's dangerous to go alone. Chase looks trustworthy, but maybe they don't have a choice either way. What seems to be the trouble?

Cup of Sugar - Your character needs something (water, food, supplies), ask Chase for a favor. If he doesn't have it to spare he may know where you can get some.
