This is my entry for 's contest. You guys know who this is? AWWRRRROOOOOOOO!!!!!Man, its been more than a year since i did a pencil portrait... and obviously, i need practice but im pretty happy with the piece considering the lack of pencil drills and how the paper didnt allow various grading of shades.
I wish i captured the likeness of this Badass more though. I usually use a pantograph or some graphing tool but with this piece, i did it by eye.
Minor edits in photoshop like cleaning the background and changing the gray to a slightly reddish color. Nothing else

Oh, that's sick! His fight with FG is gonna be one of the year's best! I'm giddy with anticipation and bloodlust!! I was thinking about entering this contest, but after seeing this, I'm having second thoughts!

Same! Can't wait. I honestly think he'll win though, like I said on another piece, Rampage beat Chuck Liddell not once, but TWICE. FG has a tough fight ahead of him. Should be good.

Rampage is one hell of a fighter and he's a whole lot stronger than FG but FG has better stamina and skillsets IMO. I know Rampage is likely to win the fight but im rooting for FG anyway. He's a huge underdog and everytime he's expected to lose, he wins.
He won against Ninja. He shoulda won against Tito. This is gonna be a really interesting and entertainingly close fight! If somebody would win, it would be the fans for sure!

Yeah, he was scheduled to fight someone, not sure who it was. It was a huge thing, then it just fell off, and we don't know what happened.
And I agree. Rampage is stronger and hits harder, but FG might just try to outlast him, then go in for the KO. But if Rampage lands that right hand like he did on Chuck, then it's over.
Like you said though, will be a good fight.

Chuck has always been known to have one hell of a haymaker but nobody has tested his chin except for rampage.. twice! But FG on the other hand have taken hard hits by different fighters and i havent seen him get knocked out. He's got one hell of a chin!

Juz saw it bro and Sadolah beat CB in the first round with a very clean armbar! Great fight! Diego Sanchez pulled out a win as well! Matt Brown clocked Matt Arroyo too! Great event!

I didn't see the fight, but I heard about the outcome from my dad. *He goes online to find out who wins when we can't watch it* I was thoroughly shocked. I would have thought for sure that Rampage would've knocked out Griffin.

Well, he almost did one time but FG being the more technical fighter utilized his reach early and messed up Quentins knee on the 2nd round with powerful legkicks. He recovered quickly though coming back strong on the 3rd but FG played it really smart.
If they got on berserk mode and start swinging, FG would have been out on the 1st round! Quentin's got serious knockout power.

Amen to that. If it would have come down to who has more strength, Rampage has Forrest beat all the way. I mean, c'mon, he's taken out Chuck twice, something no other fighter has done.
But yep, sure was interesting. 
Personally I'd like to see a Matt Hughes vs Chuck Liddell. That'd be an interesting fight, really.

I always thought FG would take it but yeah, a whole lot of people especially the fight experts thought that Rampage would beat him no question!
As for Rampage's power, damn.... He's one tough mofo who has proven himself time and again. I actually find Rampage not being the champion a really good thing! We'll get to see more fights from him now.
Wanderlei rematch would be good since Wanderlei has improved endurance now and he likes to bang as well. Jardine would be a good match up with Rampage as well. Anderson Silva has moved up a weight class as well right? Damn... its gonna be good!
As for Matt Hughes and Lidell, i think Hughes would win but i dont see Lidell moving down or Hughes moving up though. But it would be a great matchup! Two old lions proving themselves and classic striker vs ground fighter.

He actually had a few fights after that... and his last fight was juz 3-4 months ago if im not mistaken. He actually won that fight and it was against a pretty good fighter. He announced after that fight that he quit UFC coz of some problems with Dana White.
He's still fighting but not with the UFC anymore. He's also trying to get into films as well. Ive seen him in three films so far. The old Jet Li flick with DMX, and two newer ones A Dog Problem and Zombie Strippers.

Yeah, that old one with Jet Li I remember. It had Chuck I believe, as well.
But IMO, and no offense, i'd rather see him out of the UFC like he is right now. He was just all around disrespectful to the veteran fighters, and just had too much of an attitude for me.

I dont think Tito was disrespectful to veteran fighters though. Maybe before when he was new to the UFC but after he got beat by Frank Shamrock, i think it really changed him a whole lot in terms of his character and training. But sad to say, although he's a much better person, he aint as good a fighter now as he was back then.
The fighter i want to see back the most would be Randy though. He left the UFC unbeaten and unchallenged. Now that there's a whole new breed of fighters, i wanna see if he can still dominate the cage.

Hm, well, the reason I say he was disrespectful is in his fight with Liddell. Talking about how he didn't stand a chance and such. Y'know? I mean, saying that you'll win is one thing in and of itself, as everybody does it, but he took it a bit too far IMO. But hey, that's just me.

Well, y'know these guys.. they always talk smack in prefight interviews and end up hugging and respecting each other after every fight.
As for Randy, yeah... Other than the money reason, i think the reason he quit UFC coz UFC cant get the russian guy to sign. Igor was it? im not sure... it was this short guy who some experts say was the best in the world and Randy, being able to beat everyone in the UFC wanted to fight him.

I only seen him on Pride for a couple of fights and he was good but considering that Pride fighters arent that good compared to UFC (except for the chosen few like Rampage and Wanderlei ), i cant really say how good he is.

They had some pretty colorful characters though! Sakuraba being one of em. I wonder why Vitor Belfort isnt seen anywhere though. He was good enough and could've been a lot better if he joined a better camp and better trainors.

There's gonna be another UFC this July but i forgot when its gonna be shown. I think the fight card is quite good too! Ill check the website for scheds. I dont wanna miss any event.
