Description This one is for who has asked me to portray two of his OC's, the ever deadly Alacrity and the sharpshootingAmanda squaring off to the death! Will Ala's Sai skewer Amanda first or will Amanda's sights line up with Alacrity and be the end of her?

No references were used except for getting a few ideas on the mini assault rifle. I still need a LOT of practice with motion lines and effects as well as some perspectives.... but i hope its good enough.

wow, this came out awesome~!

I should have guessed you'd pick this scene ..

Alacrity came out as deadly as ever
ah, I see you took that reference literally: actually she doesn't use a sai at all in this story, and is unarmed in this scene - but artistic licence~! I suppose it wouldn't come out so cool without some implement


Amanda's weapon came out so badass, I know you hardly ever draw guns but you did a fantastic job with that burst effect + muzzle flash.
Her body armour too is menacing in its practicality.

Im glad you are pleased with it bro! It was so close between this scene, ending or how Amanda saved Ala... but i chose this coz it had more dynamic and action in it. I always had Ala with a sai in my mind eversince you told me of this idea! sorry bro... it would have been easier for me too to draw one less weapon! hehe...

Gotta admit i spent some time with the armor so that it would look useful enough in a fight but light enough for a pilot to wear. I wont even comment on the gun! LOL....

Thanks Rod! one thing i love about monochrome pieces is that i can play more with the lighting and not worry about the colors
