I really like her overall look, and I find it rather neat that the Gym Leaders of Galar seem to have some kind of overall theme to their outfits, reminiscent of a uniform.

Yeah, there seems to be some uniform to their outfits. I'm not sure if hers is supposed to be based on a swimsuit or volleyball uniform, or if it's supposed to be a revealing runner's outfit like you see sometimes.

did you know that they said her swimsuit was over sexuality and I'm like what so sexually about her swimsuit its just like the uniforms Olympia athletes ware not only that people on twitter were harassing artist who lighting her skin up as if she is the first dark skin Pokemon character when she is not ,its like they forgot about the others before her it made me mad that they would come after anyone who draws her in their art style and skin not like the drawing.

I don't see anything hypersexual about her design, really. She's a water Gym Trainer, so of course she would be wearing a swimsuit of some kind. Marlon wears half a wetsuit, Crasher Wake does too, and they are both shirtless. Wallace wears a far more sexual outfit in his redesign for ORAS, what with the hugely revealing cutouts that dip low enough to show us all that he doesn't wear underwear and his extreme crop top. Misty's first official looks involved swimsuits and were even more revealing than Nessa's is. The only Water type Gym Leader who's fully clothed is Cress, and he's a waiter who's gym is a restaurant, where he would obviously need to wear something other than a swim suit. The 'overly sexual' accusation just seems silly to me.
As far as lightening her skin goes, I can see how that would bother people. You're right, though, about her not being the first dark skin Pokemon Gym Leader/Elite 4/Trainer.

yea people were making a deal out of it and edit it to cover her up yea Wallace was way more sexual and they were not turning her white but a light brown color and it bother people she still dark but lighter brown color but when it came to the other dark skin characters people were changing them white and nothing was said but her on the other no no she stay dark.
