I liked 'Blue Lady' so darn well that I decided to do one in green.
Definitely going to have to complete the set and do one in red, too. 
What hath I wrought. (Update: Not only that I went and did one in yellow.

... I always feel slightly like the fourth wheel to you three, though. (I can't really say third wheel, cause I'm the fourth person not the third...) *shrugs* This is probably the remnants of my earlier bad mood talking combined with some tiredness, so don't take this seriously. Maybe if I managed to get to be closer friends with Inny and Lore I'd be more part of the group, but eh... Anyway, the RBG is complete. There's no space for a brown, or a gold, or any other colour. You three are Harry, Ron, and Herminone, or Moony, Padfoot, and Prongs... I'll probably always just be the outsider, just be Neville... And I guess that's okay. *sighs* Why am I even saying this, I made myself sad again and it'll make you feel sad... I should never have typed this paragraph.

As for how to do an equine face like that... They can be quite imposing, though generally if it's equine I'm gonna want to hug it, and especially if it's Night Shadow. Position the ears according to mood, have the face straight on just the same as with the humans, use her long thick forelock and mane to your advantage.
Generally I'd say angle her ears a little bit back but don't pin them down, and have an arched neck. I can give you a side profile of what I mean really quickly on EA. However, since we're looking for a more mysterious look in these something different might be best. Perhaps one ear forward and one pointed off to the side, a more relaxed pose with the neck, and definitely use the forelock.
But obviously it's your picture and these are just suggestions.

Yep, that works! Night Shadow doesn't have any deformations - to be fair, she pretty much couldn't be deformed even if I wanted her that way. Her horn is certainly the most notable feature. I had indeed been concentrating on displaying her species, perhaps too much... And when it comes to how what you're suggesting looks weird? Honestly, what I came up with looks weird too. Ears are ABOVE the eyes, not beside them, damnit. xD

My apologies. I didn't mean to negatively criticize your art. It's great. And, yes, the lady is actually lovely in a sense. It's just that in seeing that character's expression in a green light, I got a bit of a... *cough* venomously-creepy vibe. That is not at all to say that the picture is bad or that my interpretation is well-placed, so feel free to ignore this silly opinion.
