Just... the difference between last year's and this year's. I can't. I'm too stunned to even be stunned. I'm almost. ALMOST. Used to Masky's insane rate of stylistic evolution. Or at least I've come to EXPECT it.

(I really do view dear Masky through an extremely biased lens. xD I SEE her as gorgeous so I tend to DRAW her as gorgeous and I'm HOPING that the final version of her will look a little more UNNERVING than that bottom shot. ;^^ Same face and all, just... the presentation... it's gonna need to be free of brain-mum's bias. xP)

Gah, if I was better at drawing human faces I'd try and see if I could draw a slightly more unnerving version of her for you. But I'm not so great at humanoids. xD

Heehee, thanks for the thought in any case. If you have an idea for how to make her more unnerving, you can run it by me verbally if you like...? I can TRY to draw what you say but my bias is hard to get through.

Honestly, the black pigment around the eyes in the older three adds to the creepy/unnerving factor. But really, if you want to make her unnerving without changing the design, use the lighting. Give her something with a hood to cast a deep shadow over her face with the glowing eye illuminating under it slightly. Dark alleys, shadows from houses... Darkness adds a factor of creepiness to most things if used right.

I'm gonna try doing a sketch.
