Description mercenaries make a brief stopover for supplies. after a short exploration of the city, the crew return to their ship, resupplied and rearmed.

this was actuallly a drawing of a dropship inside a mothership, but after revisions, this became the final rendering. note ship has tilt engine thrusters for hovering.

Ur painting is more than perfect. Just like the others. Can u gimme some tips about painting landscapes and colour theory?

hey, thanks. i know there are people that can explain better than i can about landscapes and color theory. if i try to explain, it would be extremely long. just remember the closer you are the higher the contrast, and the farther you are the lower the contrast. this is to give depth. there are other important points to know, but i use that a lot. i invested a lot of money in training dvds. check out thegnomonworkshop.com. they have dvds that are extremely helpful and they've improved my artwork.

more buildings, more background vehicles, more detail on the ship. btw, i was checking your gallery and in your speeder rework, you said you saw ryan churche's dvd. i have all of his dvds and they are very helpful. i've learned a lot from them, as well as other gnomon workshop dvds.

thats the thing about digital paint, its never dry and its so tempting to go back and do more
i love the gnomon dvds, they`re very educational and inspirational.i have seen ryan church`s,feng zhu`s and harald belkers.they are a bit expensive but worth the investment, are there any more you would recomend?

yeah, i have them, too. if you're into speed painting, david levy's dvd is very good. christian lorenz scheurer and dylan cole also have very good training dvds. i've spent a lot, BUT i've learned tons of techniques.
i always want to add something, but i have to stop myself, lol.

From a certain angle, from a certain Samus Aran picture stuck deep inside my head, it does look like her.

Or I could just be losing it.

yeah... monitor calibration is very important... for example, all my paintings look 50% darker on a school computer... So now i always put the brightness a bit lower when i paint...
