This is really pleasant to watch. =] The animation is smooth, and I think the high contrast of the lines and background go well together, almost giving the feeling of either a chalkboard or a programming screen. The shape you've chosen also looks very complex, which makes it even better. 
Takes me back to my graphic design classes, almost, with all the grey reference lines.

Very sweet. I bet that took a while to get right. The look is awesome, makes me wonder how well, if you do, do websites and/or frame by frame animation in flash? Very cool stuff.

You are correct, it took me some time to get it right. I kept drawing a pixel more/less than I should and had to fix all the frames.
I've done some websites/intranets, but I'm on the programming side, not on the design. I haven't done anything serious in flash.
