Yep, I felt the need to make a picture for the announcement of the most recent Sonic game (well.. second to most recent, since Sonic Next Gen was announced too..) Sonic Hoverboarding? I dont like the idea.. but the game does look fun. They didnt need the new characters though...They updated his shoes a bit.. you cant tell, but they did. The goggles are also a new addition

Ugh. Can't they spend a little more time and make Sonic games good?
All the new ones (it went downhill from SA2) are really lacking, especially in the storyline. Heroes almost had no storyline!

it looked like a lot of fun when i saw the video but im in the same boat as you i dont get why they needed the new charecters, it seems every sonic release these days is just an excuse for more pointless additional chars we wont see outside of that one game.

Sonic Riders - 3 New Chars which look really really aweful to be honest it dosnt look like they spent any longer than 5 mins to design them
Overall the the sonic series is starting to sadden me but hopefully theyll hold true to their promises with Sonic Next Gen going back to the intense Speed and Platform that made the old 16-Bit 2D Sonics so awesome to begin with.

Saw the vid, either I'm seein things, or Bean now has dredlocks and a eyepiece. Either way, I'd get it if that was Bean the Dynamite that I saw.

Well sides that, they may or may not be around for other games. I just seems that they would've been better to just bring back guys like Bean or Fang.
