DYSIS MYRRH!!!!!!! Sorry, that name is just so fun.Dysis, my absolute favorite, gets a homage to her fortuneteller roots--hence the dress and cool gold neck and armlet things (I just wanted to draw dysis in an elegant dress...). She holds the true solaresc and with it becomes Fate's reader and the heir to Eideria's lost secrets. She acts as mentor to Ace in all matter arcane and mundane and just generally knows more of what's going before anyone else (as opposed to Riven who has more book smarts). Also in play is her godlike aeromancy, which I've show as golden swirly wind for fun. The door behind her is in the shape of a keyhole (one to which she holds the key), and with it she stems the flow of knowledge and lore and the clues to finding Eideria.
I wish I had more symbolism in here.

I really tried to use textures to give them a kind of visceral feeling instead of just visual.

Yep, she began as a simple fortune teller they met along the way, and now she's arguably my most important character.
She's the one you want running for president, maybe a little too war-happy, but still, she believes in standing up for what you believe in. She's the heart of my story. The character who connects all my characters. She's so important, and regardless of whether you tried to or not, I think you managed to reflect her importance in the composition. All the lines point to her, she's the central image, she just looks important. See? did you think of that one?
One could say she's the key to the past. Because she holds the Solaresc, but also because she hears Fate's will. She is the vessel for Fate, and that need to save her race makes her the messenger. A messenger bound by her duty, a duty in which she gives up in the end. Because sometimes the burden of a destiny is eclipsed by the destiny of one's own making. <- I should write fortune cookies for a living.
Her hair is beautiful, btw. And I do like her in a dress :3 You made her so gorgeous!

Maybe a better title is The Nexus or The Heart of Tales or The Messenger.
I definitely tried to make her look important XD, unintentionally with some compositional rules too I guess.
She's the key and the answer for a lot of the main protagonists but no one knows the right questions
The hair for everyone is all vector shapes with a little photoshop brushing for strands.
