So while I haven't read the manga (waiting for season 2), I've heard that Armin's going a little bit crazy and that inspired me to draw this. I might upload a colourless version because I spent 3 hours cross-hatching and you can't even see xD... I was aiming for a rough but detailed style, and I wanted him to look desperate but also have a tiny hint of a smile (though I think it was lost a bit with the shading...)ΒRelated content

I'm not sure who actually sung the song, but the first version I heard of it was sung by Vocaloids (which are computer-created characters with animated voices). Have you ever heard of MMD (Miku Miku Dance)?

Armin is going a bit off! He's still so adorable though that it like doesn't even matter. If he were to go completely off the deep end, I have a feeling we'd all still be madly in love with him.

I don't think he's going insane exactly, he's just changing. A lot of cray cray stuff has been going on, so he's just adapting to the changes.Β

Yeah, I'm just judging from stuff I've heard and... certain expressions of his I've stumbled across. I just love drawing dark Armin, even if it's exaggerated x) though I hope he doesn't ACTUALLY go too far in that direction.Β

I heard he is going insane too! My lovely Armin!!!! This is really nice, the feel, it is like I'm locked in a blood-red tight room, with a little light flowing in from a crack and the smell of death and fear around me.
