I would normally expect to see this sort of shot in black & white or some sort of split toning, but the colours in this composition work exceptionally well and because it is in colour, it is instantly eye-catching. The focus is just right; the way that the figure isn't in focus gives this an emotive feeling that would otherwise be absent: it's easy for the observer to tag their own thoughts, feelings and memories to the piece and this is something that I am particularly fond of. Great work.
