I love how Joker is now. It suits him PERFECTLY.

I disagree. When DC rebooted itself, I was happy to get my old Joker back after he was shot in the face. But then they pull THIS crap. The Joker was scary, sure, but he could also be funny at the same time. Him with a stapled on face is just unnecessarily dark. If I want a Joker who's not funny, I'll read Grant Morrison's run on the character.
I'm curious as to why you like this version of him.

Handsome Jack is the main Antagonist in the video Game "Borderlands 2" whose face is stapled to his skull like a mask, similar to this Joker's face.
