It's never too late to experiment! I've been itching to try something on the more decorative side, something that fits my fantasy computer icons. I may share those, if enough people would like to see/use them. I actually made this specifically for wide desktops. Since I use a laptop and monitor, this piece spans perfectly across both screens.Plus, I'm sure you know by now how much I love nautical art.
All those scales - every single one - are hand-drawn. My hand is telling me to consider creating a reusable scale pattern, for the sake of my health. What do you think?

Reusable patterns (handmade screentones, basically) are great. I made a page of hatching to reuse in my comic and it saved me so much time and pain. I definitely recommend it!
