This is really brilliant. You really are extremely talented. This piece is my fav in your gallery. There are just so many great shapes and patterns. And the depiction of the tourist couldn't be better.

I adore it. He's definitely more unique than the tourists I see on Michigan Ave all the time... I esp. like that shady figure in the corner. Money money everywhere.

Amazing.

There seem to be a lot of nautical/ship references in your work, any significance?

Absolutely brilliant. I love how one side of his body is clearly defined, yet the other side seems to sort of merge into the background.

I very like the work made with drawing All details and texture, it's simply great. It seems to me that you have put some colors with a digital technic do i right ? The funny detail i haven't see at first look is the child in the foreground, seems to allways ask for money

seanmetcalf In reply to Urus-28 [2005-07-28 18:22:09 +0000 UTC]

well, due to the fact that i had only a digital camera to take a picture of the piece, i added in details taht were missing from the original, i can assure you however this piece will have no digital coloring once scanned...though in some of my other paintings i have added some color with the computer only after scanned because i thought it made it look cooler, but i don't display any of my pieces from printouts where thay have been meesed with photoshop good of you to point out though, peace

All right, no problem, i see nothing wrong to add or not color with photoshop, i was just surprised by the very geometrical shape of some grey. Very nice job

yea i don't get it, most of the time i bump the image size to 4 or 5 inches, but its huge, i put the res up though, since they are not scans the quality suffers...it gets to pixally
