RIGHT DOWN TO THE WIRE askdjhalksdjfh
But i was super excited to try and do something epic for the final stage to give these pons some love after all the Slinky madness.
Thankfully Tauriiga was amazing enough to agree to collab with me so we could reunite our teams that started this adventure together but took slightly different paths during the middle.
We tried to capture the changing landscape on the ride into Yellowstone, and get a variety of lightings in each mini scene that also could be shown as a unified panorama thanks to the characters passing in and out of each. Hope you guys enjoy the final result

Phase Three: Crow Reservation to Yellowstone
It seemed endless. Mountains, snow, the cold, more cold, more snow.
Luckily this leg she had managed to reunite with her trail companion from the beginning of the ride. It was rather nice to have a familiar face during this longest leg, especially one that she knew she could trust if things got difficult with her newest horse. The ride was certainly putting some good kilometers on the young mare and Sarah was really enjoying getting to know her better. She was very different from Hunk, but in a way it was nice to get to start an Obertaurer that was truly hers in a way that Hunk could never be.
The roaned stallion was her best horse, and no one could doubt that he was reliable and connected to her. But he wasn't hers with all his heart in the way she was starting to sense with Princess. The stud had been bonded before and although his part breed status had lessened the distress she knew Obers were famous for, there was still part of him that was gone after his first owners death. Princess on the other hand was so sensitive and attuned to her already thanks to this intensive ride together. The young mare was smart and although she had strong willed moments where she was sure she knew best, they had developed a finesse to their interactions that made it more and more obvious that Hunk still held back from her despite the fondness.
The ride itself had been awe inspiring. Yellowstone was an area that Sarah had always wanted to see, and to see it on horseback was just inspirational. She spent most days that were clear with her eyes just riveted to the scenery, and brought out the small camera that she had indulged in for the trip to snap some photos of the more stunning moments. It was a ride she would never forget, and couldn't wait to torture her brother and friends with the thousands of photos of every minute.

Ah man my brain's dumb but I really like how the action flows between panels and ties things together nicely, also the subtle palette transition panel to panel A+

<3 It was a really fun challenge trying to get the landscape to flow but be different enough to show the journey, and same with the lightings. didnt want it to feel disjointed, but also wanted each panel to be able to stand alone.

maybe with a bit of steel, or some sort of light weight metal behind the places where the horses connect each image. Would have to be on a wooden frame to do that.

OMG you guys, this is gorgeous <333
I love how beautiful every collab b/t you and Tauriiga turns out - your styles really compliment each other wonderfully.
And the panoramic view - with changing lighting/times of days, creatures & whatnot really adds to this beautifully.
I think this might be one of my favorite TWD pics yet.
(I'll go fav Tauriiga's version to try and spread the love... one with comments, one with faves <3)
