WELP ITS HAPPENING.
This is the start of something new and exciting for Harley. She has a new competition mount that she is riding for his owners (Yes he is a lease pony), and she has two fancy new sponsors that are helping her make her way as an independent rider.

This is also totally counting as a training for them together before they start competing. Shhh totally works for both

Harley had been trying her best to adapt during the few months since she had quit her job at KhanCohban. The change in her work style was drastic now that it all relied upon her, and she found herself having some sleepless nights as she struggled to adapt her way of thinking. She had a few horses she was working for their owners, and was doing lessons as much as possible to make ends meet. But that was not the same as having her own projects that she was able to train and compete, and sadly all of her mounts had belonged to the Boal's and so had been left behind. It was heart wrenching to suddenly be bereft of her equine partners but she was determined to make this situation work and not go crawling back to Neaghe with her tail tucked between her legs.

Only two weeks ago she had taken the chance to try out a young stallion that was looking for an eventer to take him on. There had been several interested riders, but luckily Harley had managed to impress and before she knew it Brym had been moved to the current stables she had been based out of. The stallion was slightly shorter than her usual, and still rather young, but had been very promising in the eventing circuit under his previous rider. Something she hoped to take advantage of in fast tracking her own plans in getting back into the competition stream asap. It had been basic work so far, mostly she wanted to get to know Brym and form that bond and trust. Plenty of hacking and ground work between her other commitments. But she was very impressed with everything she had seen so far. The one time she had decided to try him over a small jump he had been as honest and eager as she could have hoped and she was very excited to continue on to some jump schooling with him in the coming weeks. All being as it was she had even been eyeing off some low level events to test the water later in the early part of the next month.

However before that, she had something else exciting that she was ready to announce. In a way it had been a confidence boost to her ability to make this work on her own. She had been profoundly aware that she had not had to own or buy much for the last years thanks to KhanCohban. She had her old saddle and bridle, as well as all her personal gear that wasn't the studs uniforms. But most of the rugs, and gear she would need was either so old it was a joke, as was the case with her saddle, or was entirely missing. So it had been a profound relief when a very familiar voice had called up out of the blue and asked if she would be willing to be a sponsored Rider as she emerged back into the competition circuit. Tabitha had started her own business creating high quality saddles and bridles as well as other assorted tack items. Once she had sent Harley some images it had been clear that this could be a fantastic fit for both of them. Then days Later Harley had the wild idea that it might make sense to reach out about other sponsorship as well. If she was going to reach the levels she wanted, help from some companies she loved would not be a bad idea. And days later she had received a lot of 'no's but one very exciting yes.

SO here she was, up at the crack of dawn for a photo shoot on her new horse, with her new sponsors. It was the start of something very exciting and Harley couldn't wait to see where this would take her.
