Upgrade your Windows 7 visuals by Installing dEEP v7.3 this web 3.0 eque visual mod with nothing more than minimalism to its finest.
Its Very well worked, from the combination of the icons, buttons and the Aero peek style. Matches with almost any Wallpaper, and all minimalistic wallpapers, even a very simple smooth gradient that everyone can make in GIMP or other freeware software.
Nothing much to say more, this clean and simple customizable mod is bug-free, customizable well worked and visually gorgeous. Without sacrificing performance and using 3rd party apps to sustain the visual quality. Must have.

Despite the fact that I have suggested this for a DD, it's time for me to give this a critique.
Deep7 is a truly original theme that brings a minimal and attractive look for your desktop.
There's never been another visual style quite like this, and the fact that this was made with ResHack and not tools like WSB is quite astonishing.
You should really try this theme out, and the wallpaper is amazing too.
There have been many ripoffs and reuploads of this, but this is the original and it is one of the greatest Windows 7 themes ever.

You'll need to create a new theme in custopack manually though and then use the resources in the zip from this deviantart page. I don't run windows 7 anymore so if you manage to create a working custopack theme by using the resources from the zip let me know and I'll update this deviation with a link to it.

this theme is already very good but if possible can you make a version with the next changes:
scroolbar color;
and the color of the horizontal bar on the "My computer" page.
it would be great if you changed that colors to match the blue wallpaper..

Is there something I have to keep in mind when using it for Win 7 SP1 X64?
Unfortunately the according firefox theme did not work anymore because the needed Metro 1.4.1 for Firefox is just for lower versions. Now Firefox look really strange. Is there a good firefox theme someone can propose?

its for windows 7 rtm never updated it for sp1 so some dll files might give graphical glitches or bootloops

Hey there Seashorsepip, Love the theme, it's so sleek and clean. But I'm having an issue with the forward, back, close, minimize and maximize buttons, as you can see here.

I'm guessing this is ExplorerFrame.dll? I tried the custopack installer and it didn't fix it. I placed the x64 in the Sys32 and the x32 in the Syswow64, like Luke below me said, so I'm a bit stumped. If you had any idea, it'd be much appreciated! Thanks!

But I have one issue and hopefully you can help me with it. Whenever I try to save any file using Opera or Chrome the Navigation Panel is just a blank space and there is no address bar (screenshot - img821.imageshack.us/img821/86β¦ however this problem doesn't occur anywhere else (when opening/saving files with other programs -Β img801.imageshack.us/img801/24β¦ )

I've searched the depths of internet and found a solution to my problem.Β
For future reference - If you're using the 64bit version of Windows copy the 64bit version of ExplorerFrame.dll to \Windows\System32 and the 32bit version of ExplorerFrame.dll to \Windows\SysWow64.Β
This applies to every since time you replace ExplorerFrame.dll on Windows 7 64bit.Β

That's impossible, those theme files are just native theme files like aero itself it doesn't use any more or less cpu :S
