the moment i look at the pic, the building has kinda like a face. a stern one. very fierce and imposing. nice capture.

a very honest thought, a question i ask myself many times:

yes i understand the post production and i like it. but don't you feel it would just be better on film? do you do it because it's just cheaper cleaner and quicker, or can you really prefer digital (in a pure aesthetic perspective)?

i like this very much by the way.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SeaFairy In reply to colombo [2007-01-22 19:05:54 +0000 UTC]

I prefer Film.
Always.

And I so far specialised on Polaroids.

But I can appreciate digital as well

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

colombo In reply to SeaFairy [2007-01-25 20:31:52 +0000 UTC]

ah... i thought so. it's the economic+clean+quick thing then.

aware of the polaroids, i'm notified of journals through my "message centre" you know , it's one thing dA still has of "nice", heh.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SeaFairy In reply to colombo [2007-01-25 23:31:23 +0000 UTC]

nope.
but anyway

colombo In reply to SeaFairy [2007-01-26 00:18:24 +0000 UTC]

ha, it's the medium potential for experimentation then.

yep?

SeaFairy In reply to colombo [2007-01-26 03:38:48 +0000 UTC]

which of the two media we are talking about right now? Polaroid or digital?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

colombo In reply to SeaFairy [2007-01-26 16:53:51 +0000 UTC]

oh sorry, i always referred to digital, my original question. polaroid i know it's outstanding in many ways but too expensive for me right now.

fresh-films [2007-01-21 14:59:59 +0000 UTC]

the contrast in the building is really good, but i do kinda wish there was more to it than that...other than the building, it's all just blank.
