Tool: Shii painter OekakiRandy, Prim, Popoi from Secret of Mana around a camp fire or something during their voyage.
I think this one represented the Mana series the most with it's fairy-tale like mood.

Seiken densetsu 2 is definetly my fav story from the SD games right now.... Though since I started playing 3 and the origional Ive been kindof hooked on their story.... Square enix should take a break from FinalFantasy and work on SD..... Whatdo you think Sdmeimi?

Yes! Seiken 2 is one of my favorites too!
I think they should break from FF, but I guess it really sells...
Plus I think they're kind looking at FF as a stage where they chould show the best of their graphics, so I guess its ok if they're like that...
I think Square Enix is trying right now since I see they are releasing new games other than remakes and sequals.
SD series is continued onto LOM series, which I havent played yet.
SD was just too great for me, I was kinda scared to ruin the image, but I hear alot of good reviews on LOM, so maybe that might be a good place to go! ;D

Ive only played the first 3 even though Ive got Sword of mana.
I think it would be great if they rmade the first 3 in 3-d like on omeof the newer games tmmm..... FFXII I think that was the right number.... Well anyways! that would be awsome. I could only imadine Randi, and Popoi , and Thantoes would look so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay I love you! I actually just went binge Seiken Densetsu shopping and bought Dawn of Mana and then a DS and Children of Mana, even though Children of Mana isn't really a seiken densetsu but a world of mana game... I'm rambling!

Dawn of Mana's odd but really good to look at and to listen too. I havn't gone to far in it, but I think it's pretty good. Yeah it is clearly not the best of the Seiken Densetsu's but it has enough Mana-ness in it to keep me a happy camper. Only mega-problem I have with itm is instead of leveling up for the whole game, You level up per "chapter" meaning after every Boss at the end you go back to being level one. I can't beat the Tree Boss because I needed to be level 2 to heal and I didn't realize I -needed- to level grind per chapter..
And from what I've taken in. Children of Mana on the DS is -very- dungeon oriented, but the fights are fun so it's totally worth it. Saddly, I havn't gotten far enough into the story to say the story's good but the SLASH HIT SMASH part of it is super fun!

oh no! not one of those Dungeon games... Im not a real dungeon fan... though, if the battle itself is fun, maybe I should give it a try!!

Yeah it seriously is. And no the release wasn't too good. There's -alot- of little things that are weird with it and saddly all the awesome things like, the graphics and music are COMPLETELY over shadowed by the mass ammount of little things. Not to mention it has alot to do with Malvolia.. again. Which as a Seiken Densetsu fan I -honestly- don't believe the Sword of Mana remake should have had as much effect on the PREQUEL OF THE ENTIRE SERIES, as it seems to have had. e e The Havok system is pretty extreme too, like you hit one rabite and it might fly like... a good distance to where it stuns the little dude but by the time you run to it it's already unstunned. e e; From the FANGIRLISM aspect, the only true issue I have is the fact that other than basic things like Jadd and Wendel and like places that have always been (atleast in Seiken Densetsu and Seiken Densetsu 3) are still there, is the fact that it's -extremely- tied to Sword of Mana, granted it's a prequel but it's suppose to be a prequel to Seiken Densetsu (FFAd) -NOT- it's half-assed remake.
And yeah, in Children of Mana, other than towns and dungeons there's like no fun running around the world killing things, more so walking from point A to point B from a town to a dungeon or something like that. But hey, who ever played a Mana game -not- looking for a fight?

Even though they're not Final Fantasy characters, I wish they were in Kingdom Hearts. I don't think the Square-Enix/Disney crossover series would be possible without Secret of Mana.
