Colored version of the previous lineart.

I made the fire first before coloring the dragon because I needed to identify my light source. Backgrounds are still pretty flat, but if I make those detailed too then I lose my focal point. Still need to make them more interesting though. Picking the right colors takes a while... don't want things to look ridiculous.

The thing around his neck is a bony crest that travels out his vertebra to deter undesirable riders. My dragons aren't friendly, they stay true to their vicious beauty. I keep them lean so they look fast, feral and ferocious, not a big fan of the fat smiling dragons on mounds of gold. xD My style of dragon that I wish people would make more of, guess I have to make 'em myself.
