I finally met Ciro Nieli, which I really wasn't expecting. Needless to say I kept the interaction minimal because there was quite a line of people forming and he wasn't done setting up his booth, but he was happy to hear I watched his old show and gave me a couple extra srmthfg things. Decided to buy the TMNT artbook and here I've shared some of the little SRMTHFG things that were incorporated into his version of the series. He clearly still loves having made this show so you can probably guess that Disney was the one who called the cancellation. He's very accomplished as an artist and director so if you don't like TMNT, I'd suggest giving the 2012 series a shot because I originally wasn't a fan either and you get these fun little homages added in! Pity I couldn't buy his personal art book though, there's some really cool art in there.
