WoW! This is awesome! I like the whole piece!
It looks like she's lie on the spider net.
You have added the spiders and the jewelry in a great way with shadows to bring up the warm contrast. I love this one!

Nice blend of images there. Good to see the spiders don't look too flat and unrealistic. I think the shadows how that a little bit. Love the webs in the background too, fits perfectly.

Ohhh~! Me likes, me likes! The jewelery, the soft and surprisingly warm light I wouldn't have expected with a theme like this. Hah, she looks like she really likes having spiders as her friends. Good job on keeping the background, uhm, nondistracting? Too lazy to dig out my dictionary, you know?

Anyway, this pic reminds me of those old horror movies... You know those old haunted castles with those countless portraits on the walls and then suddenly one of the portraits comes to live and follows the hero with his/her eyes once the main character passed it. This could be one of those paintings...

Heehee.. cool! Wow.. I notice that the picture itself is slightly blurry... and then it contrasts with the perfection of the spider and the sheer realisticness of the jewelry... (and the jewelry is ever so slightly out of perspective) ... but I like it!! A lot! It makes a unique effect like the jewelry is too important and beautiful to be tilted or blurred or to bother itself to follow the petty movements of she who dares to wear it... A subtle hint of surrealism... I'm not sure if this is a desired effect, but it's a mad cool one. X3 And speaking of the jewelry, very nice choice making it gold.. It really looks like it should be with that red. And, you must be very skilled at photo-manip; there's no aliasing around the jewelry, and it's a bit hard (based on my experiences) to cut the background off something like that and not have it look icky. X3;

Oh yeah the jewlery took a while to get right ...many layering effects. And it was my intention to keep it out of perspective because it just looked more in sync with the photo and the idea as you had mentioned; I'm glad it works! Thanks so much for the great comment! I use gaussian blur at about 4-6 depending on the pic and then I go to edit>fade and fade the blur using overlay or soft light depending on the pic also...I did it a couple of times to this one, it helps blend everything and keeps the original details . Thanks for the comment!
