Struck by the inspiration bug! It's sorta like the flu.. except you wish it would hit more often
And for people who know me.. goshdarnit it's not a self portrait. I just have a bad habit of drawing people who resemble me when I have no particular person in mind

I need to try Painter and OpenCanvas as you recommended, they can create amazing effects I see.

I really like the soft features of the character as well, it's so subtle but it has such an intense look in the eyes. I always really like that about your work, you do a good job conveying emotion (and don't forget wingses).
The background really suits it, too. Excellent job all around, I like this one very, very much.

Ohh, so beautiful and soft. I love monochromatic art so much, and the fact that this is -green- instead of the usual black and white you see floating around is really nice. The lips are my favourite part, they're so beautifully rendered.
