Before The Fall: Marluxia

This is for the ~Organization contest: I think we had to show what life was possibly like for Organization members before they became.. Organization members. As in, when they were actually people. I chose Marluxia.. and I have no idea why. He's not my absolute favourite, but he's near the top... And he looked much like Riku before I coloured his hair. I tried to make it darker, since it seems like Nobodies have lighter-coloured hair than their Somebodies, but I'm probably not paying attention. And his eyes are blue in this picture, but I don't actually know what colour his eyes actually are. See the detail shots below!

(I was going to colour it using the pencil lines but it looked too cheap.)

I had lots of trouble with deciding what the background would be, so I just slapped on a cheap one with random splodges. *coughs* I'm unsatisfied with this picture as it doesn't really seem.. complete to me. It really bothers me. If anyone can see what's wrong with it (not including anatomy, I'm aware I suck at drawing people), please tell me!

Anyway. Here's the explanation I thought up:

Name: Lamaiur (reminds me of something French for some reason)
Age: 19?
Occupation: Working on farm with parents, helping out

Brief (or not so) story:
Marluxia was a farmboy before his 'fall'. He helped around his father's farm, being the typical good boy: tilling the land, sowing the seeds, feeding the animals and of course, harvesting. His favourite job was the harvesting: he felt completely at peace while he did so for some reason. He always carried around two mini-scythes, even off the farm, in his pockets, and if he was ever nervous or frightened, he would stick his hands in his pockets and feel the familiar wood grain of the handle, to calm himself down.

One year, on his annual family trip to the beach, he decided to explore the thicket of trees which surrounded the beach on the way back to the van. Before he knew it, he was caught in a strange, seemingly-living vine, one of many which spread out from a massive, rafflesia-like flower. Terrified, he managed to draw his two mini-scythes out and free himself, but he would never, ever forget the terrible fear he felt as he was completely at nature's mercy. He started avoiding large flowers so often that it became habit to avoid even smaller ones, and soon he found himself giving a wide berth to even a small, innocent patch of daisies which had always grown in one of the paddocks in the farm.
He trusted his mini-scythes more than ever.

Then something or other happened (because I seriously can't think of anything: perhaps Sora came along to his farm and poked him with the Keyblade accidentally while drinking tea), and his Nobody was born. That Nobody was completely unlike his Somebody in the fact that he loved [or at least, he could command them. 'Love' is a bit extreme for a Nobody.] flowers, but now he wielded a massive scythe! [woot!]

I think... this picture is probably of the very few moments when the vine-thing was still tightening its grip and he'd just taken out his mini-scythes. Marluxia must sure feel secure with his massive bendy-handled scythe if he was comforted by two mini ones when he was ... somebody.

Wow, I believe I just majorly declared myself KH-nerd of the year for coming up with the lamest idea. XD
