Oh and yeah the anime is good, cant see why people hate on it, its pretty decent, although as expected its not as good as the VN.

Β people hate on it for two reasons one being in comparison to robotics notes and steins gate it did an awful job of putting the visual novel in in anime form and two for most of the series shit makes no senseΒ

Yeah, basically there aren't "normal" protagonist on NitroPlus games, as long as I know. I still consider Okabe normal though, despite his "insane mad-scientist" jargon

True, but Okabe does have his reading steiner, although everyone seems to have it, but he's the catalyst for it to "awaken" on others. As well as he pretty much had it rougher than either Yashio or Takumi, with Takumi being a bit debatable since he almost went borderline suicidal.

I haven't read Chaos;head VN yet but the anime adaptation is horrible >.< I consider Takumi is very, very hopeless person with no good side whatsoever. As for R;N, I refrain watch the anime version since I'm afraid it'll dissapoint me as well (I'm waiting for the fan translation .__.)

Takumi is sorta worst in the VN, but only cause he isnt a true human, since the true takumi made him without the disease, and since the real takumi was a shut in by default since he has that disease, he made takumi the same since thats all the reference he had. I thought R;N wasn't on pc, well I ordered it on ps3 since i want to play it, and the anime is decent, on par with steins gate.
