And here we have something completely different!These are some of the collaborations I did with my friend, *sophiecabra earlier this month while she was visiting! She drew them, and I painted them. They are done in acrylic on wood, and you can see the actual scans of the pictures in Sophie's gallery, right here .

The auctions end Sunday, and it's fairly unlikely we will have any others for sale online.
These paintings were a lot of fun to work on between larger projects, mostly because they presented different artistic challenges. I really love to paint in graphical styles, and rarely get the opportunity to do so. Not to say that I don't like painting realistically rendered fur, or loosing myself in the detail of a piece, but it's nice to have a brief change of pace now and then. It keeps the artistic muscles limbered up!
Anyhow! I am back to work on comics! Specifically, a short adult one about a coyote and a horse for Heat Vol. 10, which will be out later this year.

Do they sell wood specifically for painting art on, or do you just buy pieces from a hardware store?

Huh! Someone told me wood absorbs all the water, so you have to use more paint and the colors aren't as vivid. So I never thought to try it!

True, however, "pegasister" isn't an often used term. Girls most of the time, from what i've seen, go by "brony" as well.

Well, it's become commonplace term now, as women don't like to be gender-specified.
But in the beginnings, they were called and called themselves, Pegasisters.

I picked up the show by seeing an episode on youtube, "Owl's Well That Ends Well". Back in fall 2011 I think.
I have since rewatched every episode from #1 to the latest one.

yes, true, but i was thinking people would notice that it was intended for Screwbald-um-Blotch. i just dont want my last hope to become "one of them". i always thought that people get over My little Pony when they turn the age of 11. its wrong... infact i love it when people think outside the box and like my little pony! but can they keep it to them self?... a little harder? can DeviantART be a place for a talented artist to get noticed. most the people here though use it to post what happening in there life. its called "FACEBOOK" smart ones.
P.S: yes he does. hes done it for me when i asked a question. he's just one of thoughs dudes that read it but dont reply unless needed.
