beautiful, simple linework. quick, but still captures the essence of your subject

good stuff... just curious... what kind of paper do you use? i rarely even use my watercolor paper but i'm thinking about starting... guess i just gained some confidence or something that stuff is too expensive to be throwing out much of it so i would use this sort of thick inkjet stuff that i have for i guess practice

but still... what kind of paper again?

Lately, I'm addicted to watercolor paper. I have a bunch of scraps that I'm using up. I don't have a lot of cash for buying more supplies, so I've been using up what I have. But watercolor paper is much more fun to draw on. If you buy large sheets and cut them up, it's fairly economical. I always start with pencil so I can erase if I mess up, and use the back of the paper if I mess up with ink or watercolor.

good tips
yeah i bought a big ass pad of watercolor paper a few months ago... i just haven't gotten brave enough to do anything on it yet
if i could come up with a big enough idea i'd use it though

Just try sketching on it with soft pencil to break it in, get a feel for the tooth of the paper. You'll probably like the result. If not, get out a big fat eraser.
