Backstory: (5/6 when war started - 8 when war ended)
~~CHILDHOOD~~
Born as the first son to a wealthy family headed by a devoted monk, Haruki was considered a blessing and was to train to become a monk, and perhaps even a priest, for the Spring Shrine. He was raised being told he was bound to bring peace and rid the world of the sins and evils of the Earth and even as a young child he was brought up training to hone his spiritual power. When things began to shift from peaceful to tense, his family offered prayers and comfort to those who feared for the worst, and became spiritual counselors of sorts when the War broke out. Haruki was six when the War began and was shielded from much of it, but his family warned him that this war was the result of Yomi breaching into their mortal plane and corrupting the people of the island. This has stuck with him throughout his years. As the War grew more desperate the boy began to see the maimed and horrified people who had come to find peace through prayer with his family. When the War ended, the Audino felt different, as if even though he was only 8 he was brought into the world to rid it of the Youkai that had caused such horrid suffering.

~~TEENAGE YEARS~~
As he grew he studied many spiritual stories and history scrolls and dedicated much of his life to learning how to expel the Youkai that found their way into the world and followed his father's path into monkhood, but as he got older he found the passive way of purifying and banishing the evil spirits to be too ineffective, he didn't understand why they did not simply eradicate the Youkai, not banish or imprison. When he turned 16 his parents gifted him with a Mega Stone and he had it pierced into his ears, binding them together so he could not risk losing it. At this point he also formed a little duo with his friend, a Sylveon, and they began practicing a less... conventional way of ridding the world of the darkness tainting it. They did this for a few years, and at 19 Haruki left his teachings as a monk to fully pursue being a Youkai Tajiya and his friend began to worry about his obsession that was developing. One night they sat down and his friend expressed his concerns to which Haruki seemed to understand, but he truly was disappointed with friend's lack of commitment to their cause and when they went to expel their next Youkai he allowed his friend to be possessed and put him down. He to this day would claim it was an accident, but it was not.

~~ADULT/CURRENT~~
Eventually he grew to dislike being alone in his cause and reached out to find a handful of like-minded souls, those dedicated to keeping this world safe from the influence of Yomi. He understood some may not share his same passion, but as long as they were willing to follow him he did not mind.
