Description
A depiction of the beached wreck on the Canary Islands. Done from memory earlier today in class, so in a technical manner, it is not 100% accurate. It's the short & stubby, more rusted, Disney version. The actual drawing is relitively small, w/ the ship spanning the length of my thumb. The wreck looked similar to this a couple of years ago, but has now listed heavily to the port side and dropped half of it's smokestack into the ocean. The deckhouse seems to be tearing from the ship now, and the wrecksite has drifted from a very strange but exciting looking structure to a sad, end-in-sight, mangled mess. In it's day, the ship was extraordinarily beautiful.--

Haha it just happens. That coast gets a pretty bad storm season each year, and so it beats the ship up pretty bad. It isn't there anymore. 'Last time I checked there was a tiny bit poking out of the surface, but that was several months ago.

well I think they are--they are often too freakish and people can be pulverized or close, and I just don't see anything happy or interesting about that--if I were suicidal or something like that, sure, I might draw a car wreck

haha no, the ship was abandoned in the rough weather, and only a few people were aboard, and they were working with the tow ship to make sure everything was alright. When the ship landed on the beach, it was in one piece, and eventually it was beaten down to what you see now.

I love the coloring and the shading and the texture it has to it. I can't believe you did that coloring in photoshop! You need to teach me one day. Everything about it is really good. But I would have probably not put the ship directly in the center of the drawing maybe a little more to the right so to make it more interesting. When you leave a drawing a little unbalanced it makes it cooler I think. But yes I love it. Haha. I'm just being a bitch!

heck yeah, I like working tiny--usually I don't do something in just one day--this wasn't even going to be anything but after I started working it for a while I decided it was alright.
I know what level your talking about but I've never actually played in it, only watched people.
