I am making a mascot for my College's Newman council. The coat of arms includes the coat of arms of the Diocese of Syracuse, the buff chevron on continental blue representing Hamilton College, and the velvet and white roses representing our regal calling as a part of the Catholic faith, requiring us to die to the secular world and to look hopefully upon our future in Christ.
