The stunning young face of Ema [link]
This was taken in a reserve very close to my house yesterday. The natural lighting was very tricky with the sun coming in and out of clouds through the tree canopy. I also had to use a high ISO which was annoying because of low light.

Iβll say it again: sheβs gorgeous. I think she would look a lot prettier if she smiled though. But her expression as it is seems to add a mood to the piece. Maybe if she would have shown more emotion by maybe moving her eyebrows it would have been a bit more apparent. Nice contrast with the focus and the background.

I like both the colour and the B&W versions... They both own the picture but in their various ways... the focus seems slightly different with black and whites a think... the brain knows where to look straight away yet with colours there can be too much going on to allow the brain to focus on what needs to be.
