Friendly reminder that rabbits require a LOT of space, are pray, need hay 24/7, expensive, messy, need a friend, NEED to be spayed/neutered, and can live as long as a cat or a dog !!

I can relate to this. People at pet stores just sell bunnies in bulk at Easter. It bothers the heck out of me, since there are so many people that only like them as bunnies but not when they grow up. My family was unfortunately duped by this, we bought a rabbit at Easter when I was 7 and had no clue how to take care of it. She lived a long life, but it could have been better.
