Description
It was of no surprise to sometimes find eggs in the woods or along paths but rarely were they left unattended long enough to hatch. A massive paw almost found it's way on top of a tiny exhausted tot, still covered in the slimy insides of their once egg prison.
Fox lowered his head, examining the little one. A feeling in his chest began to swell as he took in the sights and sound of the infant in front of him. He sighed, knowing that he couldn't turn a blind eye.
"Home.. " He grunted. " Kept Safe.." He grasped the body of the wyngling, using his large canines to secure the grip of the child. Fox thought to himself that this is spring, where love that happened over the months is blooming and he is sure this won't be the last child he will run into. He smiled, or tried to with a mouth full, starting to feel grateful towards his wild mother. Who did take him in when he ended up hatching in her den, to which he now occupied alone. Was this giving back to what he was given? He has no idea how to raise a child, if only mother would come back. Her trip has been too long but nevertheless..
He'll try.
